Storm and Fury Review

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I wanted to share with you a book that just came out, and I couldn’t put it down! Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout, is a paranormal adventure that will have Gargoyles becoming your favorite supernatural creature!

The book description was taken from the Goodreads website:

“Eighteen-year-old Trinity Marrow may be going blind, but she can see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. Her unique gift is part of a secret so dangerous that she’s been in hiding for years in an isolated compound fiercely guarded by Wardens—gargoyle shape-shifters who protect humankind from demons. If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her, flesh and bone, to enhance their own powers.

When Wardens from another clan arrive with disturbing reports that something out there is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s safe world implodes. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again—but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light. To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed…”

Trinity is trying her best to live a normal life, but when you have a secret and are being protected by gargoyles it’s hard to have a normal life. Ever since her mom dad she feels isolated and only has some people who talk to her and befriend her. When a group of strangers come into the compound, and her true self comes to light, she will have to trust them with her life to help her. Can you trust Zayne to help her and keep her secrets or will he betray her and will she lose her life in the process?

What I love about Trinity is that she doesn’t let the fact that she is losing her eyesight affect the way she does things. She trains harder to protect herself, and knows her way around the compound so that she can have a sense of freedom. Zayne comes off as an arrogant butt head, and confuses the crap out of you. However, as the story progress’s you start to understand Zayne a lot more, and will start falling for him. I have always loved Jennifer’s books, and when I heard this one was coming out, I knew that I had to have it. I stayed up a lot of nights to continue reading chapter after chapter because I had to see how it ended. I was hooked from the very first page, and did not see some of these twists coming. Jennifer drops a bomb on you in all of her books, and I can guarantee you that you won’t see it until it comes into light.

Go on a wild adventure with Trinity and Zayne, the sexy gargoyle!
