A To Z Survey Book Tag

Hey Book Worms!

So it’s that time for another book tag, and this one is going to be fun! I found the A to Z Survey Book Tag via Google, and I decided to do it because it will give a glimpse of who I am through my books and bookish habits! I can’t wait for you all to get to know me more!

Let’s get this book tag started!

Bookshelf (2)

AUTHOR YOU’VE READ THE MOST BOOKS FROM:

I would have to say it’s a tie between A.G. Howard and Samantha Young

BEST SEQUEL EVER:

Unhinged by A.G. Howard

CURRENTLY READING:

The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo

DRINK OF CHOICE WHILE READING:

Depends on my mood, but water, coffee or tea

E-READER OR PHYSICAL BOOK:

I like to read both, but I find I lean more towards physical book lately

FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY DATED IN HIGH SCHOOL:

Henry a.k.a. Hades from The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

GLAD YOU GAVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE:

No Man Can Tame by Miranda Honfleur, this book had bad ratings on Goodreads, but I decided to give it a chance, and I am so glad I did because I loved it!

HIDDEN BOOK GEM:

The China Garden by Liz Berry. I found this book in half price books, and absolutely loved it! They now have a kindle version, so if you haven’t read it you need to!

IMPORTANT MOMENT IN YOUR READING LIFE:

Finishing the last book in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyers, in one day!

JUST FINISHED:

The House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

KIND OF BOOKS YOU WON’T READ:

I have nothing against this genre, it just doesn’t interest me, but Erotica. That is basically the only genre I won’t read.

LONGEST BOOK YOU’VE READ:

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer (756 pages)

MAJOR BOOK HANGOVER BECAUSE OF:

Stained by A.G. Howard, I actually cried because this book was over

NUMBER OF BOOK CASES YOU OWN:

One right now, but I need another one because the one I have is over flowing

ONE BOOK YOU’VE READ MULTIPLE TIMES:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

PREFERRED PLACE TO READ:

The Bathtub or Bed

QUOTE THAT INSPIRES YOU/GIVES YOU ALL THE FEELS FROM A BOOK YOU’VE READ:

“A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony, in a moment.”- Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

READING REGRET:

I’m sorry to say this, but buying Damsel by Elana K. Arnold. It is perceived to be a YA novel but it isn’t. It deals with Rape, Bestiality, abuse and they don’t prepare you for that. This is one book I did not finish.

SERIES YOU STARTED AND NEED TO FINISH (ALL BOOKS ARE OUT IN THE SERIES):

The Fifth Wave Series by Rick Yancey, I think I have only read book 1, but need to read the rest

THREE OF YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE BOOKS:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

UNAPOLOGETIC FANGIRL FOR:

The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross

VERY EXCITED FOR THIS RELEASE MORE THAN ALL THE OTHERS:

Romanov by Nadine Brandes, and this book was so worth the wait!

WORST BOOK HABIT:

Skipping to the end to see how everything ends or if it gets better when I am really not into a book. I know it’s a bad habit that I am trying to kick. I am doing that by if I start reading a book and can’t seem to get into it, I put it down, and pick up another one and come back to the other book later.

YOUR LATEST BOOK PURCHASE:

The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie, Sea Witch by Sarah Henning, and Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz. I bought all four at the same time at half price books.

ZZZ-SNATCHER BOOK (LAST BOOK THAT KEPT YOU UP WAY LATE):

Marked for Murder by Colleen Helme

I hope you learned something new about me with this book tag! I know I had fun doing it, and if you would like to do it you should. It makes you think really hard about all the books that you have and have read.
