Secrets That Kill Review

Hey Readers!

Happy Friday, we have made it another week and are that much closer to Halloween! So, today I am going to be reviewing the fourth book in the Shelby Nichole’s series, so if you haven’t read any of my previous posts about the other books in the series you may not want to read this one in case it gives anything away, which I will try not to do. Secrets That Kill by Colleen Helme, will leave you on the edge of your seat to see how Shelby gets out of this latest predicament.

The book description was taken from the Goodreads website:

“As a “favor” to Uncle Joey, Shelby must deliver a letter to his associate in Orlando where she has been vacationing with her family. When things go terribly wrong, Shelby finds herself being pursued by a Florida Kingpin for the information he thinks she stole. On her own and in trouble, Uncle Joey sends Ramos to her rescue. As Shelby and Ramos take care of unfinished business, Shelby uncovers information about Ramos and a secret that could change his life. On a path of revenge and intrigue, Shelby finds that some secrets are meant to be kept…and others? They can kill.”

All Shelby wants to do is have a nice relaxing family vacation without any death threats or people chasing her. However, when Uncle Joey asks you to do something, you do it no questions asked. It was supposed to be easy, however when Shelby is involved she always seems like she is in the wrong place at the wrong time. When she finds out people are trying to kill her, she puts her family on a plane back home, and lets Uncle Joey know what is going on. When she finds out a secret that effects Ramos, can she keep it to herself or will she break down and tell him? How will Shelby get herself out of this pickle or will this be the end of her for good?

This is a classic Shelby adventure, and Colleen created another story with action, and suspense. Every time I pick up one of these books, I know that I am going to be left on the edge of my seat, trying to see how Shelby will get herself out of another situation. You will laugh at some of the dialogue, and some of the things Shelby does. This book was just as amazing as the others, and I absolutely loved it! I can’t see where Shelby may go from here.

Go on the run with a hot hit man my fellow readers!
