Camille Review

Happy November First Everyone!

So another month has come and gone, and I hope everyone had a great Halloween. We know turn our attention to Thanksgiving coming up this month, but before we step into that holiday, I wanted to do another spooky, action packed, werewolf story. Camille by Tess Oliver, is a tale that you haven’t read before, and it’s guaranteed to grab your attention from the start!

The book description came from the Goodreads website:

“At a time when society conforms to the strictest rules and most proper etiquette, sixteen-year-old Camille Kennecott and her guardian, Dr. Bennett, live a most unconventional life. They hunt werewolves. When unwitting victim, Nathaniel Strider, wanders into one of their full moon pursuits, Camille and Dr. Bennett believe they have found a specimen for their study.

Finding a scientific key to unlocking the mystery of lycanthropy would end their late night excursions. Yet beneath the irresistible exterior, Nathaniel is transforming into a flesh-tearing monster, and as each experiment fails, Camille loses another inch of her soul to him. In a month’s time, she must face the prospect of destroying the boy who has stolen her heart.”

When I first came across this book, I was looking for free Kindle books, and I will admit I was skeptical at first. However, since it was free I decided to give it a chance and see what it was all about, and let me tell you this is one of the best stories that I have ever read. Tess has an uncanny ability to create a story that readers will want to live in, and she captures your undivided attention. You are thrown into her fictional world, and once you enter you don’t ever want to leave. This is unlike any story you have ever read before, and thank the lord it has a sequal because you will want to read it. I loved this book so much, that it lead me to buy more of her books, and I have loved her writing ever sense. Her uncanny ability to create these worlds are amazing, and if you haven’t read this book or any books from her you need to start as soon as possible!

Go on a supernatural adventure ride, that you will want to ride again and again!
