Overprotected Review

Hey Everyone!

So, today is my 32nd Birthday, and I can’t believe I am 32. I am honestly not where I thought I would be at this age, however I am working on getting there. I am happy with how successful my blog as been, and am currently working on getting my teaching certificate to become an Elementary teacher. Any who, on to today’s book, which was the first book that I read when I got my Kindle! Overprotected by Jennifer Laurens, is a laugh out loud romantic comedy that will leave you hooked from the very first word.

The book description comes from the Goodreads website:

“Ashlyn: A lonely society princess living in New York City.Daddy hired you to be my bodyguard.Colin: Childhood enemy, now her protector.Daddy thought I’d be safe. He thought I’d never fall in love. He thought he could keep me forever.Charles: obsessed with keeping her safe, keeping her his, he hires the one person he knows she could never fall in love with: Colin.Daddy was wrong.”

What would you do if the person who was your childhood enemy was guarded to protect you? That is the question Ashlyn asks herself when her father hires Colin to protect her. The banter between Ashlyn and Colin will leave you rolling on the floor with laughter. As their adventure continues things start to shift between them, but can they bury the past to continue with the future or will the obstacles be too great for them to overcome?

Jennifer creates the perfect feel good romance story that will leave you wanting more once you finish it. It will keep you enthralled until the very end, and you won’t want to put it down until you finish. I loved this book so much that I finished it in one day and the story still sticks with me to this day, years later. If you are looking for a feel good romantic comedy, then you will want to pick up a copy of this amazing book as soon as possible.

Go on a bumpy journey with two enemies who have to put the past behind them!
