Blog must have tags

Christmas Carol Book Tag

Hello Everyone! Can you believe that Christmas is next weekend!?!?! Where did this year go? I found this book tag and thought it was very appropriate for this time of year. I found that I like doing book tags, because it helps you get to know the blogger a little bit better. So here we go!

1: The Ghost of Christmas Past – A book that was a childhood favourite

I had a lot but I would have to say Rough Faced Girl by Rafe Martin and David Shannon. It is such a beautiful take on Cinderella, and it has stuck with me ever since I read it as a kid.

2: The Ghost of Christmas Present – A recent book that you think will become one of your all time favourites

I have read so many amazing books recently, but the one I read recently that has still stuck with me is Phantom Heart by Kelly Creagh. This book is so unique and no matter what book I read, I still find my mind drifting back to it.

3: The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come – A book coming out next year that you’re most excited about

This would definitly be Chain of Thorns by Cassandra Clare. I am so excited to see how she wraps up this series and to see what some of my favorite characters are getting up to!

4: Bah, Humbug! – A book that everyone else loves that you just can’t stand

I’m sorry but I know the book Damsel by Elana K. Arnold is very popular, but I could not get into it and I will admit I was really disgusted with it. This is one book I was happy to DNF and have no desire to pick up again.

5: Bob Cratchit – An old dependable that you always recommend

This one will always and forever be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. This book is one that I can read over and over again and never become board of.

6: Today? Why it’s Christmas Day! – What’s a book that always gets you in the modd for Christmas (apart from A Christmas Carol)?

In all honesty, I don’t think I have one. I do find myself searching for various Christmas themed books and normally read some that strike my fancy.

7: The Muppet Christmas Carol – Your favourite film adaptation of a book

I would have to say Can you keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella. I loved the book and the movie did it justice. I loved seeing the characters come to life! I laughed, I cried and enjoyed every second of it!

Hope you enjoyed the book tag and learned a little bit more about me! Until next time, happy reading!!!!
