Book Snob Book Tag

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone had an amazing week and gets to relax for the weekend! I am excited because this weekend I will be going to see the Pretty Woman musical, and I hope it is as good as the movie! Anywho, as always, I found a fun book tag that will hopefully get you to know me a little better! Let’s get started!

ADAPTATION SNOB: DO YOU ALWAYS READ THE BOOK BEFORE SEEING THE MOVIE?

I don’t always read the book before seeing the movie. Sometimes I see the movie and read the book afterwards. There are times where I have read a book absolutely loved it and get so excited that years later, they are making it into a movie!

FORMAT SNOB: YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE ONE FORMAT IN WHICH TO READ BOOKS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE: PHYSICAL BOOKS, EBOOKS OR AUDIOBOOKS?

Since this is making me choose…..I would have to choose physical books. Although, I don’t have enough room for the ones I already own, there is just something about a physical book that I love. You get to hold it, smell it, and just enjoy it!

SHIP SNOB: WOULD YOU DATE OR MARRY A NON-READER?

In all honesty, I would because there are other qualities, I look for in a man than if he reads or not. This wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me.

GENRE SNOB: YOU HAVE TO DITCH ONE GENRE – NEVER TO BE READ AGAIN IN YOUR LIFE, WHICH DO YOU DITCH?

Erotica hands down. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a prude or anything, but I just can’t get into those types of books. I can read romance with descriptive sex scenes in them, but I need a storyline and more content than just sex scenes.

UBER GENRE SNOB: YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE TO READ FROM ONE GENRE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHICH GENRE DO YOU CHOOSE?

This is actually a tough question, but I would have to say Romance. This genre can include so much of the other genres in them that I feel like I would still get to read all of them depending on the book.

COMMUNITY SNOB: WHICH GENRE DO YOU THINK RECEIVES THE MOST SNOBBERY FROM THE BOOKISH COMMUNITY?

I would say YA or Romance, especially YA, because a lot of people don’t believe that adults should read YA and that they are only geared towards young adults, which they aren’t always.

SNOBBERY RECIPIENT: HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SNUBBED FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE BEEN READING OR FOR READING IN GENERAL?

I honestly don’t think I have that I can recall or at least wasn’t told about it to my face, lol.
